THE HISTORIC DISTRICT, LES CARRÉS SAINT-LOUIS

From the picturesque crossroads of Rue Royale and Rue d’Anjou, you can discover a popular 18th century urban complex, originally built to accommodate the businesses of a market. Transformed into residential houses twenty years later, the buildings were raised with attics, which gave the roofs a disproportionate appearance. The preserved houses are part of historical monuments.
